“THE POWER OF LITTLE THINGS”

Think About It

Saints, the life-altering damage that a few carefully crafted words by a skillful orator can do in just a split-second may take years to heal. Words can pierce and cut so deeply that the emotional scares may not heal for years to come…if ever. Words can indeed hurt. But the power of the tongue can be used to uplift or to tear down—it’s up to you! (Excerpt “From Duty to Delight”, by Mary A. Ford)

“For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.” (James 3:2)

LESSONS FROM A VALLEY GIRL

Words of Encouragement

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”  (Psalms 23:4)

Some say “it’s in the valley we grow”.  There’s faith to strengthen, testimonies to forge and lessons to learn in the valley.  But I’m so glad valleys don’t last always!  Even though it’s no fun going through life’s valleys, often times it’s the only way to get to the mountain top.  Take it from a valley girl…just hold on and be strong. Take one leap of faith at a time and watch God order your steps into better and brighter days!
