“HE WON’T FAIL”

Words of Encouragement

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”  (Proverbs 3:5-6)

No matter what your current circumstance, difficulty, or situation…TRUST GOD!  You can be thankful even in the midst of “going through” because having an attitude of gratitude is not dependent upon what’s in your hand, but rather what’s in your heart.

Know that there is wonder-working power in the NAME of JESUS! He is an all-terrain God and able to navigate you through any rough situation. Calling on Jesus will dispatch angels to your rescue and unleash showers of blessings on your behalf!  The tender TOUCH of The Master will heal what ails you.  His PRESENCE is more powerful than the pain.  His PEACE can calm life’s rage.  His LOVE will embrace you when others leave you.  His GRACE will sustain and keep you through the impossible.

 HE WON’T FAIL…because He can’t fail!

“LET THE CHURCH BE THE CHURCH”

sunday

Saints, there is a difference between “going” to church and “being” The Church. The world can distinguish the difference between the two in you! ~M. Ford

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:22-25)

“PRESS IN PRAYER”

Friday

Saints, Persistence is the order of the day. Don’t despair—if you press in prayer you will begin to see a glimmer of God’s glory. God is faithful…your breakthrough is just on the horizon! ~M. Ford

“He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:29-31)

“BOLDNESS TO LIVE HOLY”

thursday

Saints, can those you encounter daily walk away astonished by the overwhelming evidence of the Masters’ presence in your life?  If not, then more time at the feet of Jesus is needed…He’s waiting.  ~ M. Ford

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.”  (Acts 4:13)

“CAN I GET A WITNESS?”

Words of Encouragement

“And he brought them out and said, ‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’ So they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.’ Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house.” (Acts 16:30-32)

Do you have a testimony? When you give testimony in a court of law hearsay is not admissible. You cannot testify to what someone else has seen, heard, felt or experienced. Only what you know to be true through personal knowledge, sight or involvement is considered to be credible testimony as a witness. So, I ask again—do you have a testimony?

Not the kind you give in a court room on a witness stand, but the kind that’s been engraved on your heart by the personal encounters you’ve had with the Master. Not trying to persuade, prod or pressure anyone into your point of view, but simply being a living testament to what God can do!

You see Paul and Silas, after setting free a demon-possessed girl, were falsely accused of corrupting the city residents and ordered by the local Judges to be stripped and beaten with wooden whips. Afterwards they were thrown into prison—but not just any prison, they were dragged into the inner dungeon and their feet were clamped together in stocks to be extra sure they could not escape.

But Paul and Silas began to pray and sing hymns to the Lord—thanking God for His goodness and praising Him for his faithfulness! Their testimony of prayer and praise were heard by other prisoners and guards alike—even in the midst of a dark situation they could still see and share the marvelous light!

Suddenly, the ground began to quake and the prison doors began to shake! Not only did the shackles binding Paul and Silas fall, but those prisoners who heard their testimony of prayer and praise were set free—one and all!

The apostles, the prisoners and the guards—would forever have engraved upon their hearts the miraculous miracle they witnessed that night.  And, in the end, the jailer and all of his kin were set free by the power of these two men’s testimony! (Acts 16: 20-33)

So, I say again…do you have a testimony?  Can I get a witness?  (Excerpt “From Duty to Delight”, by Mary A. Ford)

“HOPE”

Think About It

Saints, Hope is like a brilliant ray of sunshine bursting through a dark cloud. It shows up when you least expect it. ~M. Ford

“Thus says the Lord who made it, the Lord who formed it to establish it (the Lord is His name): ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'” (Jeremiah 33:2-3)

“LET FREEDOM RING!”

Monday

Saints, The Word of God is life changing for those who are willing to admit that they are sinners and desire a better way—God’s way!

As you allow the Holy Spirit to lead, guide and instruct you in living a God-fed and God-led life it brings freedom!  He who God has set free, is free indeed!  As you totally surrender to the Lord, you are no longer bound by the bondage and shackles of sin.  It’s your Independence Day….so, Let Freedom Ring! ~M. Ford

Father God, thank You for our renewed life in Christ that we can now live free from the bondage of sin!  We thank you Father because of your son Jesus who died and rose again so that in the end we can win!   Now we ask you, Father, to be the Lord of our lives—protect us from the evil one, help us not yield to the temptations of this world, and aid us in overcoming the lusts of our flesh. We invite the purifying power of your Holy Spirit to cleanse our lives from all things that dishonor You and every form of unrighteousness. Help us, Lord, to stay blameless and walk in holiness until the day of your great return! This prayer we pray in the saving name of Jesus the Christ who has set us free! Amen.
