Heavenly Father, We humble ourselves under Your divine authority as we daily walk with Thee—realizing that it is You who give and You who take away; it is You who raise up in authority and it is You who will pull down in accordance with your good pleasure. Let us not function in self pride or vain glory in ourselves; but help us to glory in You, Oh Lord, who made the heavens and earth—the one who is able to destroy and save both body and soul! Selah.
For what have You required of us, Oh Lord, but to do good, love mercy, and walk humbly with You our God? We confess that we have sinned and fallen short in so many ways—Forgive us our sins, transgressions and iniquities, Oh Lord, wash us and we shall be cleansed; and purge us from all unrighteousness! Create in us a clean heart and renew in us a right spirit so that we might serve You in sincerity, passion and with power and purpose!
Thank you, Father, for the precious blood of JESUS that can wash away every stain of sin and restore us to a right relationship with you—Hallelujah! Thank you, Father, for such great a Love that chases us down and covers us at our lowest point!
Father, we thank you for your grace that gives us what we don’t deserve and for you mercy that constantly holds back what we do deserve! Selah.
Abba…We belong to you! Take us and mold us after Your likeness; order our every step into Your divine will; and lead us in Your way of righteousness this day. It’s in the saving name of Jesus I pray and praise you always…Amen 🙏🏽~M. Ford
“So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with Him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes. I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: “Lord, the great and AWESOME God, who keeps HIS covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our ancestors, and to all the people of the land.” “O my God, incline your ear and hear. Open your eyes and see our desolations, and the city that is called by your name. For we do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness, but because of your great mercy. O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive. O Lord, pay attention and act. Delay not, for your own sake, O my God, because your city and your people are called by your name.”” (Daniel 9:3-6; 9-18)
