Father God,

Thank you for the new life we can live free from the bondage of sin because of the death and resurrection of your son, Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus, for you have already fought and won the victory over sin and death for us! We ask you, Father, Lead, guide, direct and protect us on this day. Give us discernment to know the difference between a trap-door of destruction and an open-door Of blessings! Father, Give us wisdom to know what is of true value in this life and to have a sincere desire for You, oh God, to be the Lord of our lives! Father, protect us from the evil one, help us not to yield to the temptations of this world, and aid us in overcoming the lusts of our flesh. We invite the purifying power of your Holy Spirit to cleanse our lives from all things that dishonor you and every form of unrighteousness. Help us, oh Lord, to stay blameless and walk in holiness until the day of your great return! This prayer we pray in the mighty name of Jesus the Christ. Amen🙏🏽
