Father God, I pour out our prayers for marriages today. Turn the hearts of the husbands towards their wives, and turn the wives hearts towards their husbands. Bind marriages together with the third cord of Christ that is not easily broken. Set their desires on fire for each other and give them a passion to please one another. Replace selfishness with selflessness. Uproot unforgiveness and plant compassion. Turn hearts of stone into hearts of flesh that will yield unconditional love. Open their spiritual eyes to see one another through the eyes of Christ. Stir up a love so deep and fulfilling that it will overcome any obstacles and be a beacon of light giving testimony of God’s goodness, mercy and grace! Allow peace to be their pillows at night and joy to surround them with the morning light! Fortify their faith and help them face each and every day TOGETHER so that nothing will shake their love, commitment and unity. These blessings I pray upon every husband and wife as they seek to honor Christ in their marriage. I come praying that your people, who are called by your name, will humble themselves and pray fervently during these dark and perilous times! For I know that you are the only light of hope we have in this present darkness, and you are the only remedy for this sin sick world.
Father God, I pray for our Leaders—National and Local—that they would not put their trust in military strength, financial leverage, human strategy, or political power and influence to solve our problems and difficulties; but rather put their hope, trust and faith in You who made the heavens and earth! I pray that the hearts of those in authority will be turned back to You, Oh God, and the scriptures will once again guide decision making as we return to the root of your Word.
I pray that your Holy Spirit will sweep across our land and country like a mighty rushing wind…setting free minds captive by demonic deception and breaking shackles of those caught in Satan’s grip!
I pray for the loss to come into the knowledge of Your saving grace, and that the unchurched will flock into the House of Prayer seeking deliverance and restoration in Christ Jesus!
I pray the saints will have holy boldness to witness and wise discernment to not fall for Satan’s tricks and traps! Oh Lord, set the hearts of the saints on fire for You, so we will truly hunger and thirst after your righteousness—seeking to serve and to live holy as unto You and withholding nothing, but surrendering all!
