“I CHOOSE TO WORSHIP”—DAY 6

“I CHOOSE TO WORSHIP”—DAY 6

True Worship never leaves you the way that you came. Isaiah realized his own hopelessly sinful condition while worshipping in the presence of a Holy and righteous God. But, he didn’t remain in that same sin-sick state—and neither should we. God’s redeeming love, unfailing forgiveness and complete cleansing power can wash away the toughest of sins—“ Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.” (Isaiah 6: 6-7)

True Worship reveals our true spiritual condition. Like Isaiah, we recognize how sinful we really are in the presence of a holy, righteous and perfect God. God’s goodness compels us to confess and draws us into repentance—“Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips”. (Isaiah 6: 5)

True worship ignites an uninhibited praise! This type of praise comes from deep within the believer—not just from the lips. This soul-breathed praise is an automatic response when we truly recognize whose presence we are in—The King of Kings and Lord of Lords! The angelic praise and worship experienced by Isaiah rocked the heavenly house! Their praise was so profound that it was contagious—“And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” (Isaiah 6:3-4)

True worship takes us beyond the veil. Isaiah no longer was distracted by or concerned about what was happening around him in the physical realm—he was caught up in the spiritual realm. Worshiping in the spirit takes you past the gates, through the courts, and into the very throne room and presence of God! (Isaiah 6:1-2)

“I CHOOSE TO WORSHIP”—DAY 2

True Worship belongs to God alone. The main ingredient needed for authentic worship to take place is the presence of the Lord! God alone is the object of your worship. Like Isaiah, you must recognize Gods omnipotence, holiness, majesty and sovereignty—“For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of Hosts.” (Isaiah 6: 1, 5)

God is looking for true worshippers—those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4: 23). True worship requires focusing your mind and life totally on The Holy God; and it requires a heart completely surrendered to Him. This transformed mindset and new heart-condition translates into a completely surrendered lifestyle—and that is when true worship takes place. ~M. Ford

Look for the unseen…It’s there you will find God’s hand in your circumstance. ~M. Ford

“Then Elisha prayed and said, “LORD, please, open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the servants eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha.” (2 KINGS‬ ‭6:17‬)
