“TRUE LOVE”

St. Francis said—“Seek to understand before seeking to be understood”. This is a seed of “selflessness” that will yield a bumper crop of unconditional love toward others. The key to “true love” is unselfishness—a sign of true love in action! 💕

Father, teach us to love like Christ—unconditionally. Help us to see the good in others and love them even when they are unlovely. Give us a heart of compassion and eyes that can see past their pain to a soul crying out for love! Lord, your love is perfect—teach us to have a spirit of love that can come only from our wills being totally surrendered to you! It’s in Jesus name I pray. Amen 🙏🏽

This week plan to show and share God’s unconditional love with others you come in contact with. Here’s what “True Love” looks like in action (I Corinthians 13:4-8):

• Love is patient

• Love is kind

• Love is not jealous

• Love does not brag

• Love is not proud

• Love is not rude

• Love is not selfish

• Love cannot be made angry easily

• Love does not remember wrongs done against it or hold grudges.

• Love is never happy when others do wrong, but it is always happy with the truth.

• Love never gives up on people—It never stops trusting, never loses hope, and never quits.

• Love never fails!
