Father GOD, I come praying for Pastors—those You called and appointed to shepherd, guide and instruct the body of Christ.
I declare and decree a supernatural shifting in the church atmosphere as we band together on one accord and fervently plead the sanctifying blood of Jesus over every Pastor.
Give them a Shepherd’s heart for the people—caring for the one gone astray as much as the ninety nine that stay. Settle their mind on things that will bring glory and honor to YOU, and not on things of this world that have no eternal value.
Crown their heads with wisdom and knowledge from YOU on high—not leaning to their own understanding. Give them divine insight pertaining to spiritual things so that the body of Christ might be fully equipped for the work of ministry that honors You!
Prune away the foolishness of this world and anoint them with the fire of the Holy Ghost so that they will have YOUR discernment and discipline in order to build up the body of Christ according to Your perfect Will.
Keep them fixed and focused on Your WORD and Your WILL and not be distracted by the enemy, lusts of the flesh or the pride of life.
Rekindle a fire and desire in their hearts to see the body of Christ become strong in the FAITH and walk boldly in the KNOWLEDGE of Christ.
Empower them to lead their congregations to becoming mature believers—manifesting Christ’s spiritual completeness and exercising spiritual gifts in unity for the evangelizing of sinners, edification of the saints and the exaltation of Christ!
